Hello, welcome to our website and thank you  for taking the time to stop by. You probably have some questions and that is why you are here.  If you are looking for a local church to worship Jesus Christ and the Lord has lead you to our web page, then I will try to answer some questions for you.

What denomination is your Church? EastSide Christian Church is a “Non-denominational” church.  We are bible believing “fundamental” Christians.

What style of teaching do you use? I believe the dictionary term is “expository.”  Basically it is book by book, chapter by chapter, line by line teaching.  There are times where topical studies or a topical series is done but that is the exception. You can check out our past teachings here.

What about Worship? Worship is an integral part of our service.  It is a time for us to worship our Lord and King, a time to refocus our attention on Jesus.  It is to clear our thoughts from the cares and the noise of this life to prepare our hearts to receive God’s word.  We generally do four songs at the beginning of the service and a closing song at the end.

What is your dress code? Basically, clothes!  We ask that everyone dress modestly but it is not required that you wear your “Sunday best.”  We believe that the Lord is more concerned with the inside than the outside.  You can wear jeans, or you can dress up. We only ask that there be no clothes worn that would draw attention to, or stumble someone in the church.

What is your Sunday School like?  We are the proverbial “one room schoolhouse”.  We realize some people have a tough time with this.  The modern idea of “a room for every age group” is fine if you have a church large enough to accommodate it. We are a small church with limited space so we have one room that all ages (elementary grades) attend.  Our curriculum is specifically designed to accommodate just such a setting, and for all ages to learn about the love of Jesus for them!  The bottom line is that the children are taught about Jesus.  We also have an area for younger children to play.
